Richard Blackman was baptised on 03 May 1812 at Lyneham, Wiltshire, son of Jacob and Ann of Batchford, Lyneham.[1]

Richard Blackman of Lyneham married Sarah Ruddle of Lyneham on 09 Apr 1835 at Lyneham, Wiltshire.[2]

Migration

Richard Blackman age 26, Sarah Blackman age 24, William Blackman age 2, and an unnamed infant [presumably Joseph] departed from Bristol, England, in 1838 on the Albion, arriving in New York.[3]

Pennsylvania

  • Mrs Rosa Blackman, wife of (uncertain) Blackman;
  • his daughter Sarah A Heill;
  • his granddaughter Susanna Blackman;
  • the two youngest heirs of his late son William H Blackman, viz Jesse Blackman and Will. Blackman Jr;
  • his daughter Martha Nichols(uncertain) wife of James.

John J Jones was appointed Executor.

Richard Blackman died on 10 Nov (uncertain) 1888.

Probate referred to the Testator as Richard Blackman late of Kingston, Luzerne, Pennsylvania.
