Mary Ann Blackmore was born in 1820 in Brushford, Somerset, England to John Blackmore, a mason, and Sarah (Greenslade) Blackmore - she was christened on 17 Dec 1820 at St Nicholas' in Brushford.[1]
Mary and her family emigrated to the United States between 1832 and 1834 (based on the births of her siblings).
Mary Ann Blackmore married Richard Oliver on 15 Jan 1842 in Livingston County, Illinois.[2]
In 1850 Mary A Olins [Oliver] (age 31) lived in Bruce, LaSalle County, Illinois with her husband Richard (35, Mason) and three daughters: Prudence J (6), Sarah A (5), and Mary S (3).[3]
Mary's husband passed away in 1859.
In 1860 Mary A Oliver (age 40, Farming) lived in Bruce Township with her seven children: Jane (16), Sarah (15), Mary (12), John (8), Elizabeth (6), Henry (5), and Maria (3).[4]
Mary Ann Oliver passed away on 14 Nov 1860, aged 40 years - she is buried at North Emery Green Cemetery in Kernan, LaSalle County.[5]
