Biography
Allen Blackwelder was born about 1854 [uncertain] in Stanly, North Carolina, United States. He was the son of Wiley Blackwelder (1821 - 1864) and Sophia Fink(1826 - 1915).
He married Martha Furr on 22 Aug 1878 in Cabarrus, North Carolina, United States.[1]
Their children were Noah Allen Blackwelder (1881 - 1972), Lessie Blackwelder Russ (1885 - 1971), Jessie Columbus Blackwelder (1887 - 1968)[2], Gussie Blackwelder Fink (1889 - 1963), Callie A. Blackwelder (1893 - 1989), Beacham Alexander Blackwelder (1896 - 1982)[3], Ada Mae Blackwelder (1902 - 1986)
He died 3 Dec 1924 in Cabarrus, North Carolina, United States and was buried in Roberta United Methodist Church Cemetery, Concord, Cabarrus County, North Carolina, USA.[4][5]
