She was a daughter of John Blackwell and Mary Richardson, who married in 1762.
She filed a widow's pension claim for the Revolutionary War service of Thomas White in Aug 1840; however, it was rejected due to insufficient evidence. She died in Nov 1840.
She died, age 78, leaving 9 children; Kilby genealogy shows birthdate as 1763. A list of many of those children are included in the entry for her husband, Thomas White. Since he had a first wife, who died after about 8 months of marriage, children has been provided here only if birthdates follow marriage date.
She died at Spring Grove, which had been her residence with her husband Gen. Thomas White; however, at the time she died it was the home of their son, William Larkin White and his wife, Elizabeth.
