Biography

Charles was born about 1680 in Glencairn, Dumfriesshire, Scotland.

Charles married Agnes Hunter sometime before the birth of their son William in 1706.

William, son of Charles Blackwood & Agnes Hunter, was baptised on 11 August 1706 in Glencairn, Dumfriesshire, Scotland.[1]

Margaret, daughter of Charles Blackwood & Agnes Hunter, was baptised on 10 April 1709 in Glencairn, Dumfriesshire, Scotland.[2]

Research Notes

  • Removed death date of 29 Mar 1697 and location of Midlothia, since he would have died before he could concieve either child.

How could it be possible that this person, born in 1680 and died in 1697 is the father of William born 1706?

Blackwood-57 and Blackwood-325 appear to represent the same person because: Dame date & place of birth; same parents - obvious duplicates
