Hello Ken

I have recently started researching my family tree. I believe we are connected. My 5th great grandparents Joseph Francis Blair and Patricia "Patsy" (Wampatuah). Their grandson William Blair (Frances Compton) had a daughter Celia Ann Blair (Sealia as found on the census) married Alfred Issac Branham who is my great great grandfather. Still trying to verify it all. Tamera Branham Forshaw

Hello Ken: We are 12th cousin, it is a pleasure to meet you. I hope you are have a wonderful 4th of July. Have you ever uploaded your DNA to familytreedna.com or myheritage.com. My DNA is with familytreedna.com, myheritage.com and geni.com. My younger Brother and Sister used ancestry.com

Hi Ken,

This is Tara White, youngest daughter of your cousin Warren White. I am looking for information on the family tree. If you could add me to the trusted list so I can link our information that would be very much appreciated. Look forward to learning about our family history. Thank you.

Hi Ken

I'm a little confused by your message on my profile. Can you clarify what you mean by "The one you cited was the son of Rev. John Blair and the nephew of Rev. Samuel Blair Sr. the father of Hannah and Jacob ( Joseph). They are often confused." Are you referring to the info about Hannah's brother, Samuel Blair who married Susanna Shippen, that I added to Hannah's profile? These sources, https://archive.org/stream/provincialcounci00keit#page/n159/mode/2up and http://hdl.handle.net/2027/wu.89066074683?urlappend=%3Bseq=83, say he was the son of Samuel Blair and Frances Van Hook. This source, http://hdl.handle.net/2027/wu.89066074683?urlappend=%3Bseq=87, says he was the nephew of John Blair. Are those sources not correct?

Have I mistaken to whom you were referring?

Hi Ken

You postponed the merge of Samuel Blair (Blair-1242) and Samuel Blair (Blair-791) because "corrections should be made as to the sex of Samuel and wife first and place of birth."

The info from What if the data or parents for the two profiles don't exactly match? applies to this merge as well.

The profiles represent the same person, please merge them.

Thanks for your contributions to WikiTree

Maryann

Hi Ken

You postponed the merge of Samuel Blair (BLAIR-2211) and Samuel Blair (Blair-791) because "791 needs to first correct Samuel and his wife's sex and his birth place."

However, What if the data or parents for the two profiles don't exactly match? Help says:

This is often true. It shouldn't stop you from doing the merge if the two profiles represent the same person.
Before the merge is completed, you or the person completing it will be prompted to select which data fields and which parents to keep. The biographies and sources will be combined, along with memories, notes, photos, etc.

The profiles represent the same person and need merging.

Thank you for the add, Ken.
