JOHNS ONLY REGRET WAS HE NEVER GOT TO SEE EVEN ONE GRAND CHILD BEFORE HIS DEATH AS ALL HIS CHILDREN WERE SPREAD OUT FAR FROM HIM.[1]

john lost his right leg to gangrene from a injury sustained while hunting after his kids were grown and had to have it amputated. his daughter nadien and husband shepard cared for the farm. shepard could not have kids due to scarlet fever as a child.
