Ellen Blair, the daughter of David Lewis Blair (1813-1913) and Jane Mary (Algeo) Blair (1825-1887), was born in 1865 in Peel Township, Wellington County, Canada West (Ontario), where she grew up with her family.[1] She married Herman Koelln on Oct. 8, 1884 in Glenallan (Glen Allan), Peel Township.[2] Ellen died in 1940, and is buried in Glen Allan Union Cemetery.[3]
