Nancy was born in July of 1841 to Jacob Blair (1804–1881) and Jane McClannahan Blair (1812–1887). She is listed with her parents on both: the 1850 Census (in Russell County, Virginia)[1] and the 1860 Census (in Buchanan, Virginia).[2]
Nancy and John were married on June 11, 1861 in Buchannan Co. Virginia (source needed). Nancy is listed with her husband on the 1880 Census in Sand Lick District, Buchanan, Virginia.[3] Nancy was Johns second wife. Emma Perry was first and after Nancy Blair, John married Nancy Osborne. He never divorced any of them before marrying the other. He served prison time for bigamy (source needed).
Nancy passed away in 1929 in Kentucky but is buried in the Wheeler-Boles Cemetery in Ewing, Lee County, Virginia.[4]
