Biography

William Byrd Blair was born (Estimated) 1847 to father Joseph Blair and mother Elizabeth Stockton.[1]

William B Blair was enumerated as self at Coxes, Cobb County, Georgia for the June 2, United States Census, 1880. He was noted as a tenant-on-farm, born 1849 in Georgia and married as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Sarah E Blair, daughter Laura E Blair, son William B Blair, son Alonzo E Blair, daughter Arto M Blair, son John T Blair and daughter Willis M Blair.[2]

William B Blair was enumerated as head of the household in Militia District 895, Coxes, Cobb County, Georgia for the June 25, United States Census, 1900. He was noted as a farmer and born May 1849 in Georgia. He had been married thirty-four years and was an owner as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Sarah Blair, son Columbus Blair, son Homer Blair, daughter Cora Blair, daughter Katie Blair and son Honey Blair.[3]

Will B Blair was enumerated as head of the household at Mableton - Marietta Road, 6, Coxes, Cobb County, Georgia for the May 6, United States Census, 1910. He was noted as born 1849 in Georgia and had been married forty-three years. He was a farmer on a general farm and an owner as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Sarah E Blair and son Henry B Blair.[4]

William Blair was listed as the father of Lon Blair who died August 4, 1919 in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia. The mother was listed as Sarah Danforth.[5]

W. B. Blair was listed as the father of Katie Gertrude Lowe who died December 19, 1920 in Marietta, Cobb County, Georgia. The husband was listed as James Lowe and the mother Sarah Danforth.[6]
