JACOB MARRIED MARGRET WALKER AND HAD THE FOLLOWING CHILDREN; ELIZABETH, WILLIAM, JACOB III, BENJAMIN, SARAH JANE, NANCY AND MARGRET. JOHN STAYED LONG ENOUGH TO HELP HIS BROTHER JACOB BUILD A CABIN AND PLOW A FIELD. HE THEN MIGRATED TWO COUNTIES WEST AND SETTLED IN A FURTILE VALLEY CALLED POWELLS VALLEY IN LEE CO., VA[5]
