Biography

Alexander Carnegie was born to Alexander Carnegie and Anna Blair about 1672. [1]

Alexander Carnegie was born to his father's first marriage. He married his cousin Jean Carnegie in 1697. This would estimate his birth at 1677 or earlier. Estimated to be age 25 at marriage (per WikiTree conventions), therefore born about 1672.[2]

Not to be confused with Alexander Carnegie, born to his father's second marriage in 1683.[2]

Alexander's daughter Margaret Blair-Carnegy was baptized on 7 August 1720 in Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland, England.[3]

He passed away after 1720 in Perthshire, Scotland.
