William was born in 1881. He was the son of Donald Blair and Susannah Dennison. He passed away about 1949.^[1]

On Mar. 9, 1904, Bill married Mary Ann Allan in Rockwood, Wellington Co. Bill was 22, of Esquesing Twp., and a farmer. Mary was 19, of Erin Twp., and born in Erin Twp. to John Allan and Rebecca Sevell. Both were Methodist. They were married by Rev. W. H. Gamham and the witnesses were Charles Reuben Allan of Erin Twp. and Minnie Gertrude Blair of Esquesing Twp. Mary was born in 1885 or 1887. In 1907, on her daughter’s birth registration, Mary was recorded as Mary Ann Collin.

The 1911 Census, Acton, recorded Wm. R.E., born Mar, 1881, 30, Baptist, farmer, Mary Ann, Aug., 1887, 23, Methodist, Minnie Rebecca, Apr., 1905, 6, and Beatrice May, May, 1907, 4, all Scottish.

The 1921 Census, Acton, Sub-District 29, Halton Co., page 13, recorded William, 40, a carpenter, Mary, 33, Minnie, 16, Beatrice, 14, and Velma, 7.
