Annie was the seventh child born to John Blair and his wife Jessie Jamieson.[1]
She was just over a year old when the First World War started and her father enlisted in Sep 1914. The family left Janefield Terr. and moved to Whitevale Terr. Kilbirnie about 1915 and she attended school in Kilbirnie from there.
Annie emigrated with her mother and siblings, landing in New York on5 April 1927 and celebrated her fourteenth birthday the following month in their new home in Philadelphia at Valley Street.
About 1938 she married Robert Weeks and they had a daughter Eileen in 1943.
Some time after the marriage was annulled, Annie married secondly to David Bissett.
Annie died in 1975 and was survived by her daughter.
