Biography

Af"Martin Blake, Esq., of St. Kitts, mar. 1742 daughter of Dominick Trant, Esq., of Montserrat ; he died the following year, aet. 29, but she was living in 1760 in Paris." "There is still an estate in St. Kitts called Trant's Estate, now held by the Rev. William R. C. Adamson, but, by a deed dated 6 Oct. 1775 Dominique Henry Trant and Sarah Blake conveyed this estate in trust to Sir Richard Neave, Bart., and John Willet."ter Martin died Sarah lived (and died) in Paris. They had no children.^[1]

In 1742 he married Sarah Trant, the daughter of Dominic Trant. They lived on St. Kitts. His will was probated on August 25th 1743. After he died Sarah lived (and died) in Paris. They had no children.^[2]
