Honora was born in 1873, the daughter of Thomas Blake (1836-1895) and Margaret Carroll (1838-1878). ^{[1] [2]}

In 1899, in Sydney, she married Ernest William Abbey (abt.1876-abt.1949). ^[3]

THE Relatives and Friends of MR. ERNEST ABBEY and FAMILY, of 89 Docker-street, Wagga, are kindly invited to attend the funeral of his late dearly beloved wife and their mother (EVA ABBEY). The cortege is appointed to leave J. C. McDonald's Funeral Parlor, Wagga, at 3.30 o'clock THIS (FRIDAY) AFTERNOON for the Catholic Cemetery, Wagga.

She was uried in the Wagga Wagga Monumental Cemetery. ^[5] Edwad joined her in 1949.
