Biography

Thomas BLAKE was born 1876 in Leith, Midlothian, Scotland.^[1][2] He was the son of John BLAKE (Dock Labourer) and Jane SCOTT.^[3][4] His sister was Jane BLAKE.^[1]

On 29 Dec 1899, he married Elizabeth BARRIE at Dixons Property, Partick Street in Coatbridge, Lanarkshire, Scotland.^[3] Thomas was 23 years old and worked as a Tube Work Labourer living at 59a Main Street in Coatbridge when he married Elizabeth, who was also 23 years old at that time.^[3]

He had four children with Elizabeth BARRIE: Isabella, Thomas, James, and George BLAKE.

In 1901, he worked as a Tube Work Labourer and lived with his wife Elizabeth and sister Jane at 117m Main Street in Coatbridge, Lanarkshire, Scotland.^[1]

In 1907, he worked as a Pig Iron Lifter.^[5]

His wife Elizabeth BARRIE died on 31 Dec 1907.
