Biography
Edgar Blake grew up on Goss Street East, St Peter, Great Broughton, Cheshire, England [1], where he lived until he was at least 27 [2].
He married the school mistress Mary Ellen Turner in 1864, and moved to 7 Watergate Street Row, Chester, where he continued to work as a baker and confectioner [3].
He died on 7th March 1909 of consumption (as a baker that was an occupational hazard) [4].
