She appeared on the census of 8 July 1855 at Greene, Chenango, New York.[4]
She appeared on the census of 17 July 1860 at Binghamton, Broome County, New York.[5]
She appeared on the census of 5 June 1865, in the home of her daughter, Charlotte Rideout (Elliott) Hoyt and son-in-law Samuel Gilbert Hoyt, at Manhattan, Riley County, Kansas.[6]
Jane died on 1 Jan. 1869 in Riley County, Kansas and was buried at Sunset Cemetery, Manhattan, Riley County, Kansas. Her memorial has a photo of her headstone and links to those of family members.[1]
