Colonel Robert Blakeney d. 5 May 1733 He married Sarah Ormsby, daughter of Gilbert Ormsby, on 22 June 1702. He died on 5 May 1733. He held the office of High Sheriff in 1709. He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) in 1714. He lived at Castle Blakeney, County Galway, Ireland, which burnt in the 1720s. He gained the rank of Colonel in 1720 in the Galway Dragoons. From 1721, Colonel Robert Blakeney held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Athenry. He held the office of High Sheriff in 1729. He lived at Abbert, Monivea, County Galway, Ireland, which he leased from the Most Rev. Theophilus Bolton, Archbishop of Cashel. - Issue
Captain John Blakeney (b. 1681 d. 21 May 1749 unm. aged 68. He fought in Marlborough's War, the Battle of Blenheim & Battle of Malplaquet. He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Regiment of Foot of Ireland. He lived at Distington, Cumberland, England.
Cornet William Blakeney (He gained the rank of Cornet in the 5th Dragoons.)
