Biography

This profile is part of the Blanchard Name Study.

When Jotham Blanchard was born on 18 March 1744, in Dunstable, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America, his father, Col. Joseph Blanchard, was 40 and his mother, Rebecca Hubbard, was 34. He married Elizabeth Treadwell on 10 November 1766, in Middleton, Essex, Massachusetts, United States. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 6 daughters. He died on 18 March 1807, in Colchester, Nova Scotia, Canada, at the age of 63, and was buried in Truro, Colchester, Nova Scotia, Canada.
