Funeral services for Elaine Upshaw Blanchard, 85, of Coushatta, LA will be held at 10 A.M. Friday, November 30, 2012 at Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Clyde Miley officiating. Interment will follow in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 P.M. until 9 P.M. Thursday, November 29, 2012 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Blanchard was born August 23, 1927 in Martin, LA and passed away November 28, 2012. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. "Grandma", as she was affectionately known by everyone, was always willing to take care of not only of her kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren but anyone that needed her. She will be truly missed by all of those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jeff and Chloe Upshaw; husband, Louis Blanchard; daughter, Barbara Blanchard; and granddaughter, Marla Colley.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, R.L. Blanchard and wife, Sue of Natchitoches, LA; brother, Bill Upshaw; sisters, Susie Jones and Juanita Berry; grandchildren: Jimmy Moore, Timmy Moore, Teresa Sims, Joey Cole, Toni Byford, Ernie Barfield, Charlene Blanchard and Cleve Blanchard; 19 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Doris Lawson.

Pallbearers will be her great-grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Funeral services for Marla D. Moore Colley, 46, of Fairview Alpha, LA will be held at 10 A.M. Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Clyde Miley officiating. Interment will follow in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5 P.M. Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Colley was born October 10, 1964 in Coushatta, LA and passed away July 11, 2011. She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Ray Moore; mother, Barbara Elaine Blanchard; grandfather, Robert Louis Blanchard and Bill Moore.

Mrs. Colley is survived by her husband, Mark Colley; one daughter, Kassie Dubois; two sons, Shane Wood and Payton Wood; one grandson, Laydan Caskey all of Fairview Alpha, LA; four brothers, Jimmy Ray Moore and wife, Kristie of Clarence, LA, Timmy Ray Moore of Coushatta, LA, Joey Cole and wife, Amy of Fairview Alpha, LA, and Ernie Bairfield of Mendenhall, MS; two sisters, Teresa Sims and husband, Billy of Marthaville, LA and Toni Byford of Coushatta, LA; maternal grandmother, Elaine Blanchard of Fairview Alpha, LA; paternal grandmother, Alice Moore of Fairview Alpha, LA; special Aunt Doris of Coushatta, LA and Uncle R.L. Blanchard of Fairview Alpha, LA; special cousins, Charlene Blanchard and Cleve Blanchard both of Fairview Alpha, LA; mother-in-law, Ouida Colley and sister-in-law, Tommie Colley both of Coushatta, LA; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be her Beloved Nephews: Lance Moore, Patrick Corley, Westley Corley, Luke Moore, Logan Moore, Mitchell Blanchard, Matthew Blanchard, and Jay Bohannon.
