Blanchard, Dec. 1, 1852; she is a daughter of Leonard Blanchard of Granville, N. Y., who was a grandson of Samuel Adams, of Revolutionary fame, and Abigail R., daughter of Col. Erastus Rawley of Richmond, Mass., who commanded a regiment of Massachusetts militia in the War of 1812."
