Maria was born about 1842, She arrived in New Zealand in 1875 with William and children Betsy, William, Emma, Jane and Louisa.[1]
Maria and William's son Edward was born in 1879.[2]
Maria and William's son Henry, was born in 1884.[3]
The death of Mrs. Feek, of New Plymouth, relict of the late Mr. William Feek, occurred on Monday. The deceased who was 83 years of age, came to New Plymouth from Norfolk with her husband and young family by the ship Halcione, arriving here on September I, 1875, and has resided in New Plymouth ever since, She had a family of 11 children two of whom, Mrs. Hickton and George, are dead. Those who survive her are Mrs. Lobb (New Plymouth), Mrs. Mitchell (Auckland), Mrs. Henry (Inglewood), Mrs. Lawson (Inglewood), Mrs. Buse (New Plymouth), Mrs. Cooper (Auckland), and Messrs. W. Feek (Stratford), E. Feek (Uruti), and H. Feck (Wanganui). There are also 55 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.[4]
