Johnson Bland was born on September 15, 1829 in Pendleton, West Virginia. Johnson Bland was in the CSA, Company C, 62nd Regiment of Virginia Infantry, captured and sent to Fort Chase, exchanged October 1864. He was described as 5'9", fair, gray eyes, light hair. He passed away in 1897.
