Yula was born February 20, 1857 in Walker County Georgia, United States of America to David Blaylock and Caroline Beaty.[1] She died October 25, 1937 in Georgia, United States of America[2] and is buried in Peavine Cemetery, Rock Spring, Walker County, Georgia, USA. [1]

The spelling of her preferred name is Yula on her grave marker but is also spelled Eula or Ula on some records.[3]
