Rebecca Elizabeth Bledsoe was born in 1764 in Salisbury, Surry, North Carolina, British Colonial America. She was the daughter of John Bledsoe (1726–1790) and his wife Susannah Dawson ( ?–1790).

She died in 1832 in Franklin, Tennessee, United States.
