Biography

Edwin was born in October 1880. He lost his father at age 7. He graduated from Washington and Lee University, after which he studied medicine in Baltimore. After practicing medicine in Baltimore for a few years, he married Margaret McCrum, daughter of R.B. McCrum and M.A. McCrum, in 1907. That same year, the newlyweds moved to Little Rock, Arkansas. He and his wife were the parents of Edwin P. Bledsoe, Jr. and Barton M Bledsoe. In 1920, the family lived in Cape May, New Jersey, and in 1930 in Freedom, Maryland.
