Some, without source, have claimed that a William Blethyn was born circa 1660 to 1672 in England or Wales and that he emigrated to America. Some, also without source, have claimed this man was the son of Henry Blethyn, who was a crew member on the ship ‘’Submission’’ which arrived in Chester County, Pennsylvania, on 2 November 1682.
Some also claim, again without source, that this William's wife was Anna (or Ann) Bunch.
Some also claim without source that he was the father of the following children:
All of these claims are disputed. Many researchers question whether this alleged Wlliam Blethyn ever existed.
The only source for these claims which has ever been included in this profile are unsourced FamilySearch profiles and the self-published book by Leslie Blevins, The Longhunters, which itself cites no sources for the claims.[1] This book makes many highly speculative claims, some of which have been proven false, and should not be relied upon without verification of the underlying sources.

The Bunches were in Virginia. Ann Bunch wouldn't have been born in NJ, and this couple wouldn't have married in New England. If a William Blevins married an Ann Bunch, it wasn't this William Blevins, whose existence I question anyway.
