Is anyone aware of a source for the claim that Sarah was the daughter of Daniel Blevins and Sarah Belcher, other than Leslie Blevins' book? His book cites no source for the claim and it appears to be entirely speculative. I plan to detach the relationship unless anyone is aware of a reliable source for the claim.

Greg the family was on the 1810 Russell, VA Tax List so I'm assuming that is where Sarah was born.

Sandra Evans misinformation has long been rampant among Blevins researchers and if you would like to get a better understanding of early Blevins families I suggest you begin by not believing everything you find online submitted by Ancestry members who are prone to rather blindly accept and repost what others have posted.

The Daniel Blevins who married Sarah Belcher was born ca 1714 and Sarah Belcher was born ca 1729 and died in 1799 so in spite of what one may find on Family Tree or other such genealogy websites I'm confident Daniel Blevins and Sarah Belcher did not produce Sarah Blevins born ca 1807.
