Biography

Martha was a daughter of Thomas Blosse, Gentleman, of Ipswich, Suffolk, and his wife Joan, who was the daughter of Robert Canham of Swaffham, Norfolk.

She was married to John Knapp. John and Martha Knapp were parents of four sons and eight daughters.[1] The eleven children reported by Richardson are listed below. The birth dates were entered in this profile from an unidentified source; Richardson did not give birth or baptism dates.

Martha survived her husband; on 8 April 1605 she was granted an annuity of 6 pounds by William Bloyse the younger, gentleman of Ipswich, in right of her dower.[1]
