Cora Alice is my mother's mother, my grandmother. Her preferred name was "Allie". She was pregnant with my mother, Evelyn JoAnn Johnson at the time of my grandfather's death (Joseph "Joie" Leon Johnson). She later remarried George Elmer Grambo, who became my mother's stepfather.
