On 9 Oct 1703 he married Hannah Whiten at Little Thurlow, Suffolk.[2] They had sixteen children.
"Among the children by the first wife were a George, an Isaac, an Elias, and an
Aaron buried in 1782. The entry of Isaac's first marriage was discovered by
Mr. Redstone."[3]
"On 24 February 1730 Isaac Blomfield "of Ousden yeoman," bound himself and his co-surety John Spicer of Flempton that he Isaac aforesaid would marry Susan Clift of Mildenhall, widow, in the church of St. James, Bury, by a certain date. He married her in that year (1730) and they had one son, James."[4][5]
