DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Joseph by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Joseph:
Hi Shirley & Earl, I've added Joseph's family record from the Barnstable VRs. It shows that his wife Mary died in 1706, and he had a second wife. Unfortunately I don't find that wife's name in the Mass. records, but she was the mother of Mary & Thankful, and no other later children are named.
