Richard Blount was the eldest son of John Blount.[1][2][3]
His father John Blount died 8 Mar 1357/1358, his heir was his son Richard age 13.[3]
Croke[1] stated Richard died in 1358 but this appears to be an error as he was recorded in an Inquisition in 1360 as holding a knights fee at Sodynton, Worcestershire, with Ralph, son of Richard le Porter, and Walter Doverdale.[4]
"Richard Blount died without issue, and had by 1384 been succeeded by his brother Sir John Blount".[5]
