Hannah married second on 23 Aug 1763 to John Batchelder, husbandman.[3]
There was a discrepancy with husband, needed to determine which Jacob Perkins she married, the son of Timothy or the son of Elisha.
George Augustus Perkins, in The family of John Perkins of Ipswich, Massachusetts, states that he was the son of Elisha.
Jacob Perkins is again listed as the son of Elisha Perkins and Elizabeth Towne in "The Boardman family in Topsfield, Mass". by Towne, Harriet Rosa, 1902, Topsfield, Massachusetts Historical Society, Topsfield, Massachusetts. pg.11.[4]
There is a third record for a Jacob Perkins, son of Timothy, that also states he married Hannah Borman [see: Hazen, Tracy Elliot, The Hazen family in America, (Thomaston, CT: R. Hazen) 1947. Accessed online at Hathitrust.org, page 34].
Although there is conflicting information regarding the parents of Jacob Perkins both the Perkins and Boardman family genealogies agree that Jacob was the son of Elisha Perkins and Elizabeth Towne. Jacob Perkins, son of Timothy, was removed as her husband on 24 May 2019. Traci.
