Nils Boe was the 23rd Governor of South Dakota.
On the national level, Boe was a Nixon appointee as Judge to the U.S. Custom's Court, commissioned on 10 August 1971. He served as chief judge from 1971 to 1977. In 1980 he was reassigned to a new seat as Judge on the U.S. Court of International Trade where he served until his death in 1992. [1]
Nils received his education at the University of Wisconsin (AB, 1935) and University of Wisconsin Law School (LLB 1937).
