By 1763 Ezekiel and Jane had two children, William and Francis and the third, Alexander . . . would not be born until 1766. I think it quite probable that at least the first two were born in Chester County, PA, and the ones born from Alexander in 1766 to Ezekiel in 1773 were probably born in either Cumberland or Bedford Counties. The first record we have of Ezekiel and his family's whereabouts is from The History of Buffalo Creek Valley, (from which) we learn that: "Ezekiel Boggs settled in present Blaise Township in 1774." At that time his sons were: William age 17, Francis age 12, Alexander age 8 and Ezekiel age 1. His daughters were Sarah age 6, Alice "Alcy" age 5 and Rebecca age 4. Elizabeth, Jane, Mary and Margaret were apparently all born while living here."[5]

It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Ezekiel by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Ezekiel:
