DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Anne by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Anne:

This profile has Ann (Bolling) Wynne marrying Robert Wynne in 1708, Sussex Co., VA. It also has Ann dying in 1750, Sussex Co., VA. Sussex Co., VA, didn't exist until 1754, when it was formed from part of Surry Co., VA.

So this Anne Bolling and the Anne Bolling who married Robert Elam Sr. are apparently two different people from different families? Interesting.

This profile needs sources to support marriage to Wynne, but as currently set up, they cannot be the same woman. This profile has Anne's marriage to Robert Wynne in 1708 & the profile for Elizabeth Anne (Bolling) Elam (abt.1694-abt.1754) - assuming that's who you mean - is married to Robert Elam in 1701 and mother of his son Robert Elam, who was born in 1720.

How do we know she married Robert Wynne? When? And when she died?

Robert was married to Martha Jefferson at the time her brother wrote his will 15 March 1725 (proved April 1731), so Anne cannot have both married Robert in 1708 and died in 1750.

Robert names his wife Mary in his 1754 will.

Hello Virginia Project team

Anne Wynne-539, the daughter of this PPP Bolling-12

is showing up as dying in Sussex, England rather than in Sussex, Virginia. Is Virginia the correct location as seems likely, and it so, will you edit the death location please?

Thanks!

source for "Elizabeth" as her nickname? I only find Elizabeth in the FindAGrave memorial, which is unsourced & unreliable (text for the memorial calls her mother Elizabeth Meriwether, which is not correct; her mother is Anne Stith - son Drury Bolling m Elizabeth Meriwether).
