DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Mary by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Mary:

I have mapped out all of the direct descendants of these 4 ( Jane Fleming https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zKFY0zPxfAXbCAtGzBc4ieq06FZoZJEo/view?usp=sharing [Fleming-13848] Martha Fleming https://drive.google.com/file/d/12mkNLPC3trI1r_yQYez0-Igec2EyAw82/view?usp=sharing [Fleming-2110] Alexander Fleming https://drive.google.com/file/d/1z9yZbBO5-ekha_dr4BfHMn1K4pa23x82/view?usp=sharing [Fleming-10310] Margaret Fleming https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FTY1yWtQ10-SiukKpjmzXQ1jOaympJCh/view?usp=sharing [Fleming-14989]) are DNA matches to me and made profiles on WikiTree. Two of them are X-DNA Matches, Ancestry and others say they are children of Marry Bolling [Bolling-94] and John Fleming [Fleming-23]. Now that we have Mitochondrial DNA of Mary Bolling they can easily be checked also Alexander Fleming [Fleming-10310] has a Y Match and can be checked with the male line, can someone do that I was right about Thomas Fleming [Fleming-1419] you can go back and see my arguments for him

"soon DNA will prove Col. John Wigton Fleming is next and finally to Amonute Matoaka (Rebecca) "Pocahontas" [RolfePowhatan-3] will be able to be proven as our common ancestor because of our X-DNA Match or at least strengthen the Ancestry"

PS Also My DNA Trail suggest and mapped out that Benjamin Bolin Bowlin [Bolling-79] (see profile pick) is in fact son of Mary Bolling [Bolling-94] https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nm0MLCldfyyW8S5FdulUQ8Y5kempnmNA/view?usp=sharing

"from Mentioning Ursula Tarleton (Fleming) » Ursula Tarleton (Fleming) - Virginia Flemings descent from the Earls of Wigton-NO proof! Started by Barbara Pixley on Sunday, September 16, 2012

"This a a story and has been perpetuated for years in various books etc. (eg. the book by Fuqua) At this time THERE IS NO PROOF OF A CONNECTION!" https://www.geni.com/people/Ursula-Tarleton/6000000000701018590. Keeping this legion in mind, I do have DNA prof that is X-DNA and also many DNA lines of mine suggest link through, see profile note John Wigton Fleming [Fleming-23], I have most of the lines to my matches to him with links to the mapped out profiles on WikiTree but to make the X Matches work they have to connect To William Ruthven or his wife through this profile like this ( https://drive.google.com/file/d/1eDj5CgR_gJRz4Gafm-TXf_KXCW3meTWV/view?usp=sharing) and then my X-trail to them like this (https://drive.google.com/file/d/15-8g6LdeUPs2DF6u5GhWpIiNt4Zx5TT4/view?usp=sharing )

Bolling-1442 and Bolling-94 are not ready to be merged because: Obvious duplicates.

Maggie - If you meant to set these as an unmerged match, could you explain why? "Obvious duplicates" says to me that they should be merged. Thanks!

Hi Liz, I had to take my time looking over all the duplicates that were created yesterday in the Pocahontas descendants so set it up that way. It's all merged now.

Thanks Maggie! (for the explanation & all the merging work!)

I removed Fleming-1418 as her spouse (she's still attached as the mother of Fleming-1418).

Once again, I removed Thomas Fleming that was born in Connecticut. The proper Thomas Fleming is already on here. Do not add this profile as a child, please.

Removed Thomas Fleming (Fleming-4998) as a child as there was no evidence that 1) Thomas Fleming died in Canada 2) That these were his parents. WHAT IS KNOWN that Colonel Thomas Fleming had his Will probated in Goochland, Virginia. If someone can get that Will, we will be able to find the right evidence to link him to Benoni.

Bolling-643 and Bolling-94 appear to represent the same person because: same spouse, data appear to align, parents in corresponding profiles need review

I removed Henry , Fleming-799 as a child as he is clearly from another generation of Flemings. He is the grand-Uncle judging from the date

I do not know if John Fleming and Mary Bolling had a child named Henry unless he is the " Unknown Male " that died as a child ?
posted by Maggie N.
I removed " child" Charles as this man was born in 1652 and is her father-in-law perhaps ?

Charles Fleming (Fleming-32)

I think this is Mary Bolling Fleming that is intended to be http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Bolling-94

This Mary is mixed up . She is born before her son , Charles ? I removed her from John Fleming as he was also born 100 years away.

I am trying to place where this Mary ____ belongs .

posted by Maggie N.
UNKNOWN-4658 and Bolling-94 do not represent the same person because: Mary/Mercy was Col. John Fleming's grandmother, not his wife.
