Biography
Elizabeth "Betsy" Bolton was born in 1780 in Laurens, South Carolina. She married Jonathan Box in 1796 in Hall County, Georgia, when she was 16 years old. They had 12 children in 33 years. She died in 1859 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, having lived a long life of 79 years, and was buried in Butler County, Missouri.
