Anne (Bondurant) Maxey was a granddaughter of a Huguenot emigrant (1540-1790).

Anne Bondurant was born about 1745 in King William Parish, Goochland County, English Colony of Virginia. She married Rev. Charles Maxey in 1764 in Buckingham County, Virginia, and they had six children, all in Virginia:

  1. Caleb Maxey b: 1767
  2. Claiborne Maxey b: 1769
  3. Benjamin Maxey b: 1773
  4. Jacob Maxey b: 1776
  5. Abner Maxey b: 1780
  6. Tabitha Maxey b: ca. 1785
