Marjorie was born to Clarence and Annie (Marvin) Bonang.
Margie was educated in Dartmouth. She was a buyer for Eaton's wool department, and an office manager for Modern Dental Lab. She was an avid
knitter, and enjoyed camping and the outdoors . Marjorie married Borden
Lewis Porter in 1946. She was a devoted wife and mother and grandmother.

Margaret Mary Boning Porter passed away July 6, 2003. She is laid to rest in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery , Lower Sackville NS Canada
