In the 1880 US census, T J Bonner (age 15) was living in Angelina, Texas, with parents W H Bonner (49) and Malenda Bonner (48), and siblings Mary, W G, B F, John S and Estell V.[1]
T J Bonner married Rosa McMullen on 2 Dec 1885 in Angelina, Texas.[3]
In the 1900 US census, Thomas J Bonner (age 34) and Rosa Bonner (31) were living in Angelina, Texas, with children Roy, Ellie, James, Shadie, Tommie and infant son, and with in-laws Foster McMullen (56), Sallie McMullen (51) and James McMullen (18). He wa a log contractor.[4]
Thomas Jefferson Bonner died on 8 Jan 1906. He was buried in Glendale Cemetery, Lufkin, Angelina County, Texas.[2]
