Sherman C. Bonney
Winthrop -- Sherman Calvin Bonney, 83, a resident for several years of Mt. Pisgah road, died Tuesday night at his home after a long illness.
He was born at Monmouth, June 25, 1908, the son of Frederick and Flora B. Clark bonney. He attended Monmouth schools and married Algie Marie Wright on Oct. 31 1977 at South China. Mr Bonney was employed as a truck driver for Border Maine Freightway for 22 years, retiring in 1970. he was a member of the New england Teamsters Union and trucking industry pension fund.
Survivors include his wife of Winthrop: four sons, Serman C Bonney Jr. of Charleston, S.C., Roger Bonney of Keyes, Fla., Ferdrick Bonney of auburn and George Bonney of Waterville: two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth carter of North Monmouth and Mrs. Deborah Norman of Sidney; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.[8]
