Jane Boone was born September 18, 1762 in Rowan, North Carolina, the daughter of Edward Boone and Martha (Bryan) Boone. She is the sister of Charity (Boone) Elledge, Mary B. (Boone) Scholl, George Boone, Joseph Boone and Sarah Boone.
Jane married Morgan Morgan in 1783 at Boone's Station, Clark, Kentucky. They had thirteen children:
