while this isaac was alive in 1810, he may not be the one who married Mary Ferguson in Franklin County. also she would have been a second wife as they were married after the children's births.

I think we should change the birth date to 29th. Peasley did not give a reference for his date of 27th but the article from Conner stated it came from a specific Bible.
i think freelove was maybe nancy's maiden name as it is an unusual first name and they seem to have a son named freelove. it is not uncommon back then to name a child after the mothers side of the family. also other researchers have used the same logic to name her. where did nancy come from? cant say for sure.
sadly gencircles is gone. but it had a lot of information on it. and now it looks like worldconnect is on strike too.
cannot really check your previous info if the source goes into limbo. the gencircles site was the Conner tree and now its gone. and as abner died before useful census were made in usa we are further limited by his passing. thanks for your input Ralph.
I have two birth dates for Isaac Boothe: 27 Apr and 29 Apr 1758.
The 27 Apr date was from George Pesely's The Boothe Family of Floyd County, Virginia found in Virginia Appalachian Notes. This date is widely used by genealogists.
The 29 Apr date comes from the Conner's Bible Records also found in the Virginia Appalachian Notes. This date comes from the Bible of "Uncle John". I am not sure who "Uncle John" is but could be a grandson of Isaac through Abner. The Bible information was copied by Mrs George Conner. Two children of Isaac, Abner and Anna, had descendants named Conner. This date of 29 April has more credence for me.
So who is this Nancy Booth as wife of Isaac? The one source that lists a wife listed her as Freelove. My sources also list the first wife as Freelove no last name
