"BORDEAUX, EVANS posted by Julia on Thursday, January 8, 1998

I spent the day at the TN Archives, much of it reading books about New Hanover Co. NC. My ggggrandfather was John Evans. He married Priscilla Bordeaux daughter of Daniel Bordeaux abt/ 1800. In the New Hanover Court Minutes, # 4, 1794-1800 there are several mentions of John, Jonathan, Edward, and Benjamin Evans along with the Bordeauxs and Bloodworths. Can anyone help me pinpoint my John? Was he the son of Jonathan? Where does Edward fit in? And is there a record of the time and place of his marriage to Priscilla? I will appreciate any help. Thanks."
