Biography
Philip (or Phillip?) W. Boss was born at Rowan (now Davidson? or the part of Rowan that remained Rowan?) County, North Carolina on 05 Oct 1790 (or 05 Oct 1791?). Philip married first to Mary (Molly) Wyman (1802-1826), on 18 Apr 1821 at Washington County, Indiana. Philip and Molly had one daughter. After Molly died Philip remarried to Maria (went by Polly) Magdalena Fulk (1808-1859) on 22 Jan 1826 at Washington County, Indiana. Philip and Polly were the parents of six known children, four girls and two boys; all of whom lived to maturity.
Phillip was born in 1791. He passed away in 1863.
