Julia Alice, daughter of Minerva D. and Joseph Bothwell, had her birth on the farm near Blue Rapids, Kan., on May 26, 1879. Her father moved to Blue Rapids when she was a few years old and she attended school there but did not graduate. She is her father's housekeeper and like him, is deeply interested in the work of the International Bible Students' Association of which they are members.
